The History Educators International Research Network [HEIRNET] brings together colleagues from around the world interested in History’s civilising, cultural, educational, moral, social, political and citizenship roles.
HEIRNET is a small, informal friendly association that believes in history’s crucial role in educating for a democratic future that depends upon understanding the past.
The HEIRNET website:
- holds an annual conference: in 2023 we convene in Stockholm, Sweden from Thursday 31st August to Saturday, 2nd September
- promotes ONLINE HEIRNET KEYNOTE lectures and presentations
- supports the international peer reviewed History Education Research Journal [HERJ]
